Code of Conduct

Version dated July 23, 2026

1. Why this code

EventOSports brings people together in real life to play. This code describes the behaviour expected from everyone — on the platform and on the field. By creating an account or joining an activity, you agree to follow it.

This code complements the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy; when in doubt, write to us.

2. Respect for others

Treat others as playing partners, not opponents to crush. In practice:

  • Welcome newcomers and play at the level the activity advertises.
  • Be on time, and let the organizer know if you can no longer make it.
  • Keep your communications courteous, in the chat and on the field.
  • Respect the organizer's decisions about how their activity runs.

3. Prohibited behaviour

The following behaviours lead to content removal or account suspension:

  • Harassment, intimidation or threats toward anyone.
  • Hateful or discriminatory speech (origin, gender, orientation, religion, disability, age…).
  • Sexual, degrading or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Fake profiles, impersonation or misrepresenting yourself.
  • Spam, unauthorized commercial solicitation or phishing.
  • Deliberately endangering others during an activity (dangerous play, violence).
  • Any illegal activity.

4. Safety on the field

Meeting people you don't know carries risks: choose public places, tell someone your schedule when playing with a new group, and respect the venue's rules and equipment.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency services) first — before any in-app report.

5. Reporting

You can report a profile, a message or an activity directly in the app. Every report is reviewed by a person on our team; nobody gets suspended automatically by a machine.

How report data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. What happens when the code is broken

Depending on severity and repetition: removal of the offending content, a warning, or account suspension. A suspended account is no longer visible and can no longer join activities; nothing is deleted unless necessary.

You can appeal a decision by writing to privacy@eventosports.com. A person on the team will review your request and get back to you.
